This mystery series follows the youngest architect in the world, ten-year-old Albert B. Squid, his dog Baji, and his father Atticus B. Squid as they travel the world designing houses for the rich and famous. But things don’t always go as planned, as there is always someone or SOMETHING trying to thwart the build. Young Albert, who is not only a brilliant architect, but also a master at deductive reasoning, takes it upon himself to uncover who or WHAT is behind the events that are stopping them from getting the job done.

The stories in the series are inspired by the work of present-day Architect Adventurer, and author, Albert B. Squid (of the book series “Let’s Design A House” fame.) when he was a young architecture prodigy in the early 1990s when kids knew what a rotary phone was. So one would think it might have been difficult for young Albert to solve mysteries without the highfalutin gadgets of today. Quite the contrary! Young Albert receives surprise gifts in each of the stories from his future self such as computer tablets, smartphones, and other modern technology much to the chagrin of the other characters in the stories who are embarrassed to ask what these things are.
