About the Author

Karon Joseph Riley is a father, husband, brother, friend, mentor, actor, producer, director, athlete, Pan-Africanist, author, and spirit living a human existence the best way he can remember. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, to two educators who helped him find his path early on, Karon is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and Martin Luther King, Jr. Senior High School. He played seven years of professional football with the NFL, CFL, and AFL. After finishing one dream as a professional athlete, Karon set his sights on the next dream of becoming an actor. He has devoted his life to living up to the responsibility of the Talented Tenth and leading the way with his gift of creativity to change the world for the better. Even as a child, Karon prayed for wisdom above all else. With a life in which he has so far lived out every dream, he has undoubtedly been blessed with wisdom along the journey. He believes that all information is a part of the universal consciousness and belongs to no single person. This book is him returning the consciousness back to keep the flow of life moving and him living his purpose. Karon has three children, Daylen, Kal'El, and Lola, with his wife, Terri J. Vaughn Riley.
