Be Spiritually Independent Because There Is No External Guru: Guru Tattva Drishti is a revolutionary seeing of the higher truth, that one is inescapably acquainted with, but hesitant to declare, owing to the apprehension of standing out.
Recognize that, only the outstanding one can be bold enough to defy the norm and sneak a peek beyond ignorance.
Only such a brave one allows oneself an opportunity to let ignorance lift and wisdom prevail.
Indisputably, one must investigate beyond the 'I'. Nothing short of that will do. One must realize the beyond that inexorably calls out. What you seek also seeks you. Look in the correct direction.
Turn within, the inner Guru Tattva communicates. Listen! It says something. Shhhhh!
This special inner seeing commands Self-inquiry. Self-inquiry commands spiritual independence. Be spiritually independent as that is your actuality. Dependence on external gurus is not.
Reading this book intellectually will not help master the ultimate reality as these words are external too. Earnestly adopt all direct seeing pointers from without and then inquire within. Self-awakening sets its pre-requisite as the renouncement of the conditioning of a limited individuality in a limited world.
The direct seeing of the inner wisdom solely begets enlightenment.
Commence the effacement sadhana with the primary inquiry of ‘The Unknown Search' in section I and quit not until ‘The Search Culminates' in section XII.
