Synopsis
Kinebren has spent his entire life serving the Ardetten Rangers, protecting the people of Marenden. And he and his fellow rangers have done it well. It has been centuries since the orcs of the Poisonfold Mountains have appeared in large numbers. Life is so good, in fact, that almost everyone in the realm takes their security and safety for granted.
The ruler of nearby Raven Island plans to shatter that illusion of safety. Even now, his agents infiltrate the kingdom, looking to bring it down from within. His allies; an orc warlord and a quixotic wizard. His goal: end the long reign of the Brereton Kings.
Kinebren Silvermace and the Ardetten Rangers stand on the fringe of the realm, watching the mountains and waiting for the next threat to emerge. Will they see it coming in time?
