About the Author

Diana Hamlett is an expert in the field of Sociology, having earned her Bachelors of Arts degree at The College of New Rochelle in 2006. In addition to co authoring this book, she has also worked with and supported troubled children and their families as a former Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), and Fostering Futures Mentor. Sonja Sharif is a veteran educator who holds a Bachelors of Science degree in education from Morgan State University and Masters degree as reading specialist from Loyola University. As a working school administrator; she spent decades working and supporting children dealing with grief in a variety of urban and working class middle and elementary schools.
