About the Author

Guillaume Duprat, born in Paris, is a French author and illustrator. The majority of his books draw his references in mythology, anthropology, history of science and religion and art to revive representations of the ancient or unknown cosmos. The guiding thread of all his works is the relativity of the gaze whether in the study of cosmology at all times and in all regions of the world or in his latest book Eye Spy which proposes the vision of the same landscape through the eyes of different animals. He lives in Paris.

“I like this book because it shows you how animals see things. Like did you know that bees see flowers with different colors than we do? The book has different categories of animals, like mammals and birds. I like how insects see because they have thousands of tiny eyes, so to them everything looks like pixels. I would give this book four stars. Little kids and big kids will enjoy it.” – Kids Bookbuzz, reviewed by Lena, Age 9
