About the Author
Mika Waltari est né à Helsinki en 1908 où il est mort en 1979. Membre de l'Académie de Finlande, il a commencé sa carrière de romancier très jeune. Auteur dramatique, romancier et nouvelliste, il a également écrit des comédies et de nombreux romans policiers, d'aventures, publiés sous divers pseudonymes.
