Synopsis
Takeshi, père célibataire, et Yui, qui a tout perdu dans le tsunami de 2011, se retrouvent autour du " téléphone du vent " : une cabine téléphonique sur les pentes du mont Kujira-yama réputée pour transmettre des messages aux disparus...
Sur les pentes abruptes du mont Kujira-yama, au milieu d'un immense jardin, se dresse une cabine téléphonique : le Téléphone du vent. Chaque année, des milliers de personnes décrochent le combiné pour confier au vent des messages à destination de leurs proches disparus.
En perdant sa mère et sa fille, emportées par le tsunami de 2011, Yui a perdu le sens de sa vie. C'est pour leur exprimer sa peine qu'elle se rend au mont Kujira-yama, où elle rencontre Takeshi, qui élève seul sa petite fille.
Mais une fois sur place, Yui ne trouve plus ses mots...

About the Author
Laura Imai Messina vit au Japon depuis 15 ans et travaille entre Tokyo et Kamakura, où elle vit avec son mari japonais et ses deux enfants. Docteur en littérature comparée, elle a écrit plusieurs livres sur la culture japonaise. Ce que nous confions au vent est son premier roman traduit en français.
