Synopsis

About the Author
Martha Grimes est née à Pittsburgh (Ohio). Après des études de lettres à l'université du Maryland, état où elle a vécu toute son enfance, elle suit les cours du très réputé atelier d'écriture de l'université d'Iowa, dont elle sort avec le titre de docteur ès lettres. Elle a longtemps enseigné l'anglais avant de se consacrer pleinement à l'écriture. Son sens très fin de la psychologie et son habileté à recréer l'atmosphère propre aux romans policiers britanniques " classiques " lui ont valu de trouver une place de choix parmi les auteurs contemporains de romans policiers.
