Bound in oxblood-colored cloth, with crisp silver-stamped lettering to the front boards and the spines. Unbumped spine heads and tails, and with sharp corners except the outer corners of Vol. II are very gently bumped. Immensely clean bindings. Text blocks firmly bound in. All pages are of heavy-duty, semi-glossy paper. Volume I, 243 numbered pages. With numerous full page, full color plates and B&W plates, as well as several duotone photographs of the artist and his family and associates. Volume II, 640 numbered pages. With 2,676 works of the artist reproduced in small format, in B&W. Pastedowns/FEPs of both volumes with moderate off-setting from the dust jackets.
