This is an account of the adventurous life of Francois Muller. Born in the Alsace region of France close to the German border he was deported to the infamous Buchenwald camp for acts of resistance during the Nazi occupation.After the war he was a paratrooper in the famous 2 REP during the French struggle for Indo China. He was taken prisoner in 1952, spending time in the infamous Camp 113. He escaped capture and spent time hiding amongst the Mong people of Laos whom he helped train against their traditional enemy the Vietnamese.When he eventually came out of the jungle, he left the armed forces but continued to fight in Thailand.
