It is necessary to search for better option to the existing fossile fules. Hence lots of reseach was focused in the area of harnessing energy form sun. People all around the world are working on various semiconducting materials for the same purpose. Authors have chosen Germanium(Ge)and Selenium (Se) from the IV-VI group of periodic table with the varying quantity of Sulphur(S).The material in the various proportion was then morphed in to crystals form using Vapour Transport Technique. Moreover, grown crystals were characterized by different methods to find out Structural and Electrical properties. This book, therefore provides an information about the crystal growth technique to grow the singel crystals of Germanium Sulphoseleide as well as it's application as a Photoelectrochemical (PEC)solar cell. Dr.Sandip Unadkat, Ph.D.: Assistant Professor of Physics in the Electronics and Tele- Communication Department of Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engg. College, Vallabh Vidyanagar.
