About the Author
Maurice Hamilton is a freelance journalist and broadcaster specializing in Formula 1 racing. He has written for the Guardian and the Observer during the past 25 years and his reports have appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live, and, most currently, TalkSport, where he is the F1 correspondent.
