About the Author:

I was born in Woodland, California. When I was twelve, my parents lured me to Northwest Arkansas with the promise of a horse. This worked and I lived near Cane Hill for thirty-four years. In 2004, I moved the horses and myself to Idaho where I now live; happily learning histories of the Pacific Northwest.
