A fines de 2008 se realizó una experiencia accesible única en su género referida a la accesibilidad en educación a distancia. La intención de esta propuesta era implementar una experiencia en la cual se pudiera evaluar la usabilidad y accesibilidad de e-learning en personas ciegas. Se contemplaron aspectos referidos a la plataforma de e-learning utilizada, y la metodología de la didáctica en educación a distancia para invidentes. El resultado de la experiencia se plasmó en este escrito que fue presentado como Tesis de grado de la carrera Licenciatura en Tecnología Educativa en la Facultad Regional Buenos Aires de la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, en abril de 2009, con el nombre “Propuesta de evaluación para plataformas de e-learning para invidentes” .
