This reports gives an overview of sensitivity methods (screening, global and response surface based) that are suitable for safety analysis of a repository for radioactive waste or spent nuclear fuel. The theoretical background of the methods, their limitations and suitability for different analyses are discussed and illustrated by examples. The target of this work is to provide a summary of most useful methods to perform SA in the contextof a PA and to provide some advise about their use. In this context, though local methods, screeningmethods and global methods provide relevant information about the system model, screening methodsand global methods fit better within the structure of a PA, and that is the reason to focus all efforts onthem.
