This is the 2011, 9th edition of the Swiss Alpine Club's guidebook of approximately 330 huts in the Swiss Alps. The guide has a few pages of introduction in French, German and Italian languages (not English) followed by 350 pages of individual hut information. These information pages each feature a hut with a colour photograph plus a location map. Each page also has a list of symbols indicating access issues; contact information; opening times (whether hosted or not); indication of mobile telephone reception; information on climbing possibilities; hut facilities; suggestions for linking other huts and villages etc. These information pages have very little text (not English) and the symbols are easy to understand. This is a very comprehensive guide to the Swiss Alpine hut network.
