About the Author

William Green is the author of The Great Minds of Investing, a new book on which he collaborated with the award-winning photographer Michael O'Brien. The book was excerpted in Barron's. Ken Shubin Stein, professor of Advanced Investment Research at Columbia Business School, praises Green's "superb writing" in The Great Minds of Investing, adding: "This book should be admired first, and then studied seriously."

William Green's writing has appeared in many leading publications, including Time, The New Yorker, Fortune, Forbes, The New York Times Book Review, Fast Company, Bloomberg Markets, The (London) Spectator, and The Economist. He edited the Asian edition of Time while living in Hong Kong, then moved to London to edit the European, Middle Eastern, and African editions of Time. As a co-author, he has collaborated on books such as Guy Spier's much-praised 2014 memoir, The Education of a Value Investor, which the Financial Times hailed as "highly readable" and Forbes.com called "the most interesting investment book this year." Raised in London, Green studied English literature at Oxford University and received a master's degree in journalism at Columbia University. He lives in New York.
