By way of an answer to many questions, the following can be said: The working of the astral in the soul-forces, whereby willing, feeling and thinking are bound and mixed together, creates an obstacle to the forming of a connection to man's essential being. If the human being wishes to structure his soul-forces for the future, he is advised thus by the Guardian of the Threshold: - First separate your will from your wishes. - Then separate your wishes from alien thoughts. - Never indulge in fantasies stemming from lower drives of the soul. - And so, work out of pure thoughts.
