The awkward stare, ill-fitting lingerie and occasional bruise all provide testimony to the candid yet concupiscent nature of these seedy, yet provocative, pictures. These seductive images were fetish objects for the millions, and were discovered glued into albums or record sleeves, tied in stacks, in old cigar boxes, and hidden in books (notably: Dante's Inferno).
