Limited edition of 300 copies, signed in black marker on colophon page by Moriyama, in a cardboard clamshell box printed with bold black graphics, and an original gelatin silver print (image size 9 1/8 x 7 3/8 inches, paper size 10 x 8 inches), stamped and numbered on verso (enclosed in a mylar and black paper envelope). Hardcover. Photographically illustrated paper-covered boards, with photographically illustrated dust jacket that doubles as a poster. Photographs and text by Daido Morimura. Essay by Takeshi Nakamoto. Text printed in Japanese, Spanish, and English. Produced and edited by Shinji Takeushi. 288 pp., with approximately 280 full-bleed black and white and four-color plates. 11 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. In his essay on the epic project, Moriyama writes, "Buenos Aires for me has had a 'place in my heart' since my mid twenties, and has continued to do so for a long time since. It started with several photos of the dockside area La Boca, which I saw in a book I no longer recall. What I do remember is they were all black and white, and had a generally dreary appearance... These images were not what you would call memorable, but together with the striking place name La Boca, an inner longing for Argentina, and the town of Buenos Aires in particular, has had a strong pull on my heart... and I have been unable to let go."
