About the Author:

Dr Kanwar Ranvir Singh lives in West London, England. In 1999, he represented Sikh youth at the Parliament of World's Religions and attended the Millennium Summit of World Spiritual Leaders at the United Nations in 2000. He is Executive Director of the International Office of Akaal Purkh Ki Fauj, the largest Sikh youth organisation in the world, and a member of the Executive Committee of the World Congress of Faiths. With degrees in law and a doctorate in international studies, he is employed as an educationalist and human rights activist. In 2001 he drafted article 67 of the United Nations Declaration Against Racism, and in 2002 he co-founded Synergy International, a non-for-profit focusing on interfaith through joint action, at the United Nations Summit on Sustainable Development.

Jatinder Singh lives on Vancouver Island, Canada with his family. He has spent several years editing and contributing to community-based newsletters in the UK. He has also authored The Little Book of Spiritual Wisdom. Prior to moving to Canada, Jatinder was an active member of a British-based Charity called Khalsa Aid. This charity has helped thousands of victims of natural disasters in Asia, Africa and Europe.
