In the late 1980s, the author Mu Xin lived in New York, as he continued writing and started a five-year-long lecture series on the History of World Literature. These lectures started from January 15th, 1989 to January 9th, 1994. Participants took turns in offering their living rooms,some of them included painters, dancers, historians, sculptors and etc. This book shows the precious photos of Mr. Mu Xin and his relatives, which are provided by Mr. Chen Danqing and Mr. Wang Wei, the nephew of Mu Xin.

About the Author:

Mu Xin was born in 1927 in Zhejiang province, and his original name was Sun Pu, who graduated from Shanghai Fine Arts School. He moved to live in New York in 1982 and passed away in his hometown Wuzhen on December 21 2011, at the age of 84. He was a literature master and painter of modern China, and is regarded a legend figure and an elite who knew deeply about the Chinese traditional culture. And he published many books.
