Synopsis
This book titled, ‘Computer System and Programming in C’ is specially written as per revised syllabus for first year BTech. and MCA students of all the engineering colleges affiliated to GBTU. It not only explains topics mentioned in the syllabus but also lists practical assignments that are part of the syllabus and need to be carried out in computer lab. The language of the book is very easy and never becomes barrier in learning. Examples and programs are liberally used to explain the concepts clearly and make the learning effectively.At the end of each chapter, a section, titled ‘Quick Revision’ is there. It is introduced in the form of check list for revising all the important points. These sections will be quite useful in examination time, when complete book will have to be revised in very short span of time.A detailed questionnaire titled ‘Exercises’ is also there at the end of each chapter. This questionnaire contains short answer and long answer type questions, as per revised examination paper pattern. All the questions put together cover all important aspects of the topic. Solving these questions correctly, on self-knowledge basis, will generate confidence and ensure good marks in the examination.To make readers familiar with the intricacies of C language programming, we have also included a program bank at the end of the book.
