K. Manikandakumar is Lecturer in Physics, Bharathidasan University College (W), Orathanadu, Tamil Nadu. His areas of interest include both Physics and Bioinformatics research fields such as Medical Physics, Nonlinear Dynamics, Molecular Modelling, Drug Designing, Biological Sequence Analysis, Mathematical characterization of biological sequences, etc. He also holds the position of Editor-in-chief (i/c) of Natural Science and Technology series of journals (www.nstjournal.com). He has developed and is running many bioinformatics databases. He is an elected member of the Senate of Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli.
