Dr R.D. Choudhury is currently the Chairman of Indian Art History Congress. He retired as the Director-General of National Museum, New Delhi. He also served as a Professor in Tezpur University for two years after his retirement. He has a number of books and many research articles in various reputed journals to his credit.
