From the Back Cover:

The narrator, 22, Angel Dalto, recalls a crucial event in his life occurred in 1986, when he was an almost adolescent, who had just completed his elementary studies. He did not like studying and not studied further study to get into university, neither to enter vocational training, which what advised in the center where he studied. He worked one season as a mason, a waiter, and so on. and in 1986, worked with his father in a brickyard Despi Sant, Sant Feliu de Llobregat, near Barcelona (industrial zone) near where he lives. It is the physical and human geography of his previous novel, "I refer to Játac" and describes it beautifully. Working-class area that has got better and better, from the economic standpoint, but where the kids who think they are suffocated with a future that few will bring to life their parents and grandparents work, work, work to afford housing, a tv, a car and can occasionally go to a village hall or a cinema in Barcelona. Nothing more.
