"Future Arquitecturas" emerged from the desire to show in detail the invention and quality on display in architecture competitions occurring in Spain and all around the world. It has established itself as the primary forum for discussion of such competitions. The journal, which is published four times a year, features conversations with emergent architects and their competitions; an analysis of 6-8 current competitions; discussion with the winning architects of a recent competition; completed competitions and their construction details; and, news of recent competitions being developed around the world. Text is in English and Spanish. "Future Arquitecturas 14" features competitions from autumn/winter 2008, including such projects as a signal tower in Paris, the Carlsberg site in Copenhagen, a congress centre in St Petersburg, a research tower in Padua and a new museum in Russia. Featured architects include Ateliers Jean Nouvel, Studio Libeskind, Benedetta Tagliabue EMBT, Valerio Olgiati and Acconci Studio.
