Eve Ensler (Nueva York, 1953) es dramaturga, intérprete, feminista y activista social. Su multipremiada obra Monólogos de la vagina ha sido traducida a cuarenta y cinco lenguas y representada en ciento doce países.

Ensler es, asimismo, fundadora y directora artística de V-Day, un movimiento global contra la violencia hacia las niñas y las mujeres que, en diecinueve, años ha recaudado cien millones de dólares para combatir la violencia de género y el feminicidio. Otra de sus obras más conocidas es I am an emotional creature (2015), compuesta por monólogos y diálogos que cuentan situaciones de diferentes
