About the Author
Denchfield es un ingeniero en papel británico, dedicado a la creación de libros pop-up desde 1996. Es el creador de numerosas series de libros infantiles, reconocido internacionalmente por la calidad de sus sorprendentes diseños y por el ingenio y sentido del humor de sus historias, entre las que destacan El pollo Pepe, El pollo Pepe va al cole, y su continuación, El pollo Pepe aprende a volar, además de La cerdita Clea, La rana Ramona, El perro López, El pájaro Paco y Animales extraordinarios. Ha colaborado con diversos ilustradores ingleses como Ant Parker, Steve Cox, Alex Vining, Sue Scullard y Anne Sharpe en los títulos ya referidos y también en Dinosaur Park, Magical Beasts, The Nutcracker y Pirate Ship, entre otros. Además de su labor literaria, Denchfield se dedica a la enseñanza y a menudo participa en eventos junto a niños y jóvenes con los que comparte sus conocimientos en el diseño de papel y en la creación de relatos.
