Synopsis

Yusuf y Esaú son dos primos toledanos que ven con alegría el final de la guerra contra Granada y, con él, la pacificación de toda la península, cuando reciben la noticia de la firma del Decreto de expulsión de los judíos por los Reyes Católicos. Cada uno de los primos va a reaccionar de forma diversa. Yusuf decide quedarse en su ciudad natal, Toledo, y convertirse en cristiano, con todas las consecuencias (vigilancia de la Inquisición, etc.). En cambio, Esaú decide marcharse, al igual que hicieron en verano de 1492 muchos judíos sefardíes.
