About the Author
Sun Tzu was a Chinese author of The Art of War, an immen- sely influential ancient Chinese book on military strategy. He is also one of the earliest realists in international relations the- ory. The name Sun Tzu ("Master Sun") is an honorific title bes- towed upon Sun Wu, the author's name. The character wu, me- aning "military", is the same as the character in wu shu, or martial art. Sun Wu also has a courtesy name, Chang Qing.

Fue el primer intento conocido sobre lecciones de guerra. Sin embargo es todavía frecuentemente usado en la actualidad debido a que sus enseñanzas pueden ser aplicadas en muchas otras áreas donde está involucrado el conflicto. La obra muestra la inteligencia y la frescura de los ensayos de Sun Tzu. En ella Sun Tzu explica al detalle los preparativos previos a la guerra: estrategias de engaño, disposición de las tropas en el campo de batalla, armamento necesario, carros de combate, etc. Cómo poder llegar a vencer al enemigo sin tener que desempeñarse al enfrentamiento cara a cara: simplemente imponiendo una moral dominante, infundiendo el miedo al enemigo para así poder vencer sin llegar a la batalla. *** Nota: Los envíos a España peninsular, Baleares y Canarias se realizan a través de mensajería urgente.
