The book features fifteen of the main works of the Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld, described with elucidative texts and pictured in more than two hundred beautiful photographs.
This issue is dedicated to Weinfeld's residential works, built in cities such as Sao Paulo and Brasilia, in addition to coastal and countryside cities. The volume is completed with drawings of each project. In a bilingual version (English and Portuguese), the text presented in this issue is signed by American journalist and architect Raul A. Barreneche, author of various books and collaborator of The New York Times.
As stated by the author in the book's introduction: although they represent only part of the comprehensive and eclectic work of Weinfeld, his homes form a coherent and vigorous ensemble. (...) And they capture with brilliance the various interests, abilities and talents of a modern man of the Renaissance who, like Vitruvius, considers with seriousness the precepts of solidity, functionality and, above all, beauty.
