Through their published journals, enhanced by extensive research, Fabio Bourbon has pieced together Catherwoods fascinating and mysterious life—including his other expeditions to Egypt, Central America, and California. More than 200 reproductions of Catherwoods original drawings appear throughout, including a rare color portfolio considered his finest work.
