He has authored around 60 books, including the updates, on the latest CAD/CAM technology. He is one of the very few authors in the world whose books are translated and sold in the countries like Italy, China, Philippines, and Russia. Prof. Tickoo has also developed a software package called SMLayout that has been registered by Autodesk Inc. as a third party software product. This software package is currently being used by some companies in Canada, United States and Columbia. SMLayout is written in the AutoLISP programming language. It generates flat layout drawing of some complicated geometric shapes.
