Synopsis

One of Khushwant Singh's classic collections, Sex, Scotch and Scholarship reflects the author's many passions - his love for nature and travel; his interest in religions of the world - Sikhism in particular; sex and humour; people and politics. It includes a fine essay on Guru Nanak and translations of some of his hymns; and a couple of outstanding short stories. The opening piece on himself is one of the most candid he has written. Formidable and fearless, bold and unabashedly bawdy, Khushwant Singh will have you turning the pages, leaving you wanting more.
