Drifting off to sleep beneath a picture-quilt made by a globetrotting aunt, the book's young narrator becomes a bright blue mouse, swept away on an unexpected trip to India...or is it India? The answer to this question is coded in riddling poetry, as the confused traveller navigates her fantastical but all-too-real dream world. Brilliant nonsense verse captures the surreal cacophony of places, people and creatures that make up India. This is the first softcover edition of a classic Tara title.

About the Author
Anushka Ravishankar: Dubbed 'India's Dr. Seuss', Anushka Ravishankar is one of India's most celebrated children's authors, and her witty and jubilant tales are internationally acclaimed and widely translated. Anushka has now authored over eighteen books and travelled widely performing from her stories. Anita Leutwiler: Anita is a Swiss textile artist who works extensively with patchwork and applique. She is famed for her creative and meticulous use of fabric to create images that have both depth and lightness. During her travels around India she collected snippets of the textile riches of the country. With the stray bits of cloth that she took back, she created a series of images to capture her experiences, which became 'Excuse Me, Is This India?'
