What was the attitude of the European Union, the USA, the United Nations and the world community at large towards Serbian aggression? How many statesmen,m diplomats, politicians and journalists came down on the side of the Serbian conquerors, thereby participating, in a way, in the massacre of women, children, the old and infirm, and in the deaths of defenders, as well as in the tears shed by innocent victims and fatherless children? It is not our intention to deal with this issue here, but history will one day make its own judgment. Now, it is a time to appeal to the honour and conscience of a number of our contemporaries to correct the evils caused by their passivity or insufficient intervention. The world community,, working towards peace in this region through its intermediaries, the co-chairmen of the Peace Conference, David Owen and Thorvald Stoltenberg, proposed a new map of Bosnia-Herzegovina. This proposal is analyzed here, with special reference to the region of Bosnian Posavina.
