Philosophy of the Law is an attempt, through biblical exegesis and philosophical examination, to understand the nature of the political in Judaism, and especially in its founding text, the Hebrew Bible. A study of the Torah and the Hebrew language are at the core of this work, but what is at stake is their topicality to the important issue of the political in our day.
