It's a social satire through masturbation where the world and its intitutions are very well represented through this solitary search for pleasure. Even though the titles suggests a book of recipes for masturbating, its main purpose is the criticism of certain flaws of the mexican society with an extreme sense of humor as the one used by Jonathan Swift in his 'A Modest Proposal'. Every specific form of masturbation corresponds to a certain value or institution I critize. Most of the masturbations come along with a drawing made especifically for the book by thirty four well known painters, engravers and cartoonists as Jos Luis Cuevas, Francisco Toledo, Gilberto Aceves Navarro, Brian Nissen, Felipe Ehrenberg, Alberto Castro Leero, Francisco Castro Leero, Boris Viskin, El Fisgn, Trino, Jis, and many others.
