The Cairo Review of Global Affairs: Journal of the AUC School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. Issue #1 - Softcover
Synopsis
The new quarterly journal from the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Cairo will be a forum for the discussion of subjects in Middle East and American studies, law, migration, communications, and gender. Featuring a wide range of international contributors, The Cairo Review will not restrict itself to Middle East issues, but will also provide commentary and analysis from within the region on a variety of topics. The initial numbers will include articles about President Obama’s foreign policy, women’s empowerment, globalization, water wars in the Middle East, and South Africa in the post-Mandela era. A regular highlight will be the Cairo Review interview with a leading international personality involved in global affairs and public policy. The first issue will be published in March, and the forthcoming issues in May, August, and November.

About the Author
Scott MacLeod is professor of practice in the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism at the American University in Cairo, and a longtime foreign correspondent for TIME Magazine.
