About the Author

Gerardo Bartolome is Civil Engineer and author of the historical novel: Darwin's Betrayal. He has traveled throughout South America to recreate the original situations for his novel and compared Darwin s observations with the present status of the places he had visited long ago.
Barry Glickman, professor of molecular genetics at the University of Victoria (Canada), is a pioneer in the field of environmental science. Amanda Glickman, environmental toxicologist at the same university, researches climate change and its effects on birds. They both sailed South American waters during seven years exploring the places visited by Darwin and HMS Beagle.
Sergio Zagier is a publisher, journalist and photographer as well as a specialist in Patagonian historical literature. As a publisher he has produced more than 150 titles including books and maps. Currently he writes and photographs for publications across the world.
