(The author) Lytton John Musselman holds the Mary Payne Hogan Distinguished Professorship of Botany and is the Manager of the Blackwater Ecologic Preserve, at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, USA. He was a fulbright Professor at the University of Jordan from 1997 to 1998 and has extensive experience on the flora of Bilad Al Sham.
(The Artist) Dasha Fomicheva is a renowned watercolor specialist in botanical illustration. She is a graduate of Surikoff State Academic Art Institute in Moscow, Russia.
