"Politics, Illusions, Fallacies" is an insightful vision of the dilemmas of the Western modern state and democratic politics facing universalism, globalization and the non-West way of thinking and life. It is a well structured contribution that deserves the needs of a wide international debate: the paper actually provides good grounds for a comprehensive analysis of the most sensitive questions elaborated by the author that will attract the critical attention of the academic world and the readers in general. Stefano Bianchini, Professor of East European History and Politics at the University of Bologna
