The Pride of Ewe Kente tells the story of Ewe kente. Kente cloth is a traditional Ghanaian textile produced by Ewe and Ashanti weavers. Today Ewe kente is produced by families of traditional weavers living in towns and villages in the southern Volta Region. The different designs and meaning are explained in the book along with many color images and illustrations.
The book was written from the perspective of a young master weaver.
