Synopsis

The poetry of the earth is never dead
where memories lift their veil
and from soil, seek
the softest parts of us

For every Autumn leaf
harvests the remainders of day
and remembrances of night
in graceful descent, poets whisper,
we are still writing.

First line from On the Grasshopper and Cricket by John Keats, 1816

Penning Paper Moths contains fifty haunting, confessional poems focusing on love and loss as seen through the lens of nature and Romanticism.
