Van Allen who is considered the father of Morgan silver dollars with his opus, "The Comprehensive Catalog and Encyclopedia of Morgan & Peace Silver Dollars, and edited by noted silver dollar expert, Michael S. Fey, Ph.D., this book has extensive descriptions and photos of the known Morgan dollar die pair varieties that were struck by the U.S. mint.
