12mo. (3)4-220p. Plus 3p. ads. Frontispiece black and white captioned photo and profusely illustrated with 36+ black and white captioned photos throughout. Foreword by Dr. Stuart Holden. Endpapers are maps. Green pictorial cloth with letters in black and yellow on the front cover and the spine and with a vignette in yellow, blue and black on the front cover of a boat going up a river with a palm tree in the foreground and a sun setting (rising?) in the background and with a native in loincloth silhouetted against a sunburst. Very minor wear to extremities with nothing rubbed through, pictorial cover illustrations virtually intact, all plates present and in fine condition, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. No dust jacket. No date listed but judging from the ads in the rear of the book, this volume was published ca. 1924. Frederick Charles Glass was a member of the Evangelical Union of South America.
