366pp incl index. Full blue cloth; top 50% of spine lightly faded, bottom 50% more faded, evidence of a circular paper label removed from lower spine. No library markings. Pages have touch of age-toning, else contents very good. A few half-tone illus. Don Moody was a gunnery mate in the US Army Air Force during WWII. In letters home, Moody tells of his experiences in basic, gunnery, and crew training, before being shipped off to the South Pacific in the 307th Bomber Group. Moody died in his 3rd mission, his overloaded bomber crashed shortly after take-off. Bookseller Inventory # M2084WWII
