Parker's recollections of his early life as he is in his "declining years". Born is 1852 in Alabama, the family lived in Fort Smith, Arkansas, before moving on to Texas. Parker was a cattle drover for Chisum; fought Indians; was with his friend Billy the Kid in Lincoln County, NM; met Kit Carson and Buffalo Bill. Quite a rounder by his own admission!.
